Goodie Poem by Frederik Kenski

Goodie

A man should not be selfish.
Every time possible
One should throw a crust of bread
To a hungry dog.
And, do I even have to mention it? –
Feeding birds at winter, almost a law.
And when I make my own meal
I obligatory spill few drops
On the cooktop
And millions of germs gather
On that fountain,
They lap it up
Praising me:
'Wow, that man Freddie –
A real goodie! '
