Light crossed his frame.
Inlays, each way
gave.
To palpable
sensationalism.
Rays contempt
from each murky scent
of rotting pride.
Smoking in the dark.
His lost art;
through yellowed teeth
and smiling decay.
It was never supposed to be this way.
