Goosebumps Poem by Ray Hansell

Goosebumps

When she said to me
That she got goosebumps
You could hear my heart
As it went thump, thump, thump

As I read your words
They echoed in my mind
The feeling that I got
I haven't felt in a long time

It's funny when you think of someone
Than, at the time the're thinking of you
Is it just a coincidence?
Or, something else coming through

Could we both be physic?
That we pulled this off
Or could it just be happenstance
We'll never know of course

It's just a little secret
Between both you and I
So for now until later
I'll bid you a fond goodbye
