Gotta Start Somewhere!

A start! Where to start...
I know in my heart
That I must play a part
In poetry's art.
But where to begin?
Is it such a sin
To respectfully grin
And go for the win?
Just crank out a poem
It doesn't take long
Like the words of a sonnet
Or lyrics of a song.
And now that it's done,
