We lived in opulence
The dekko of our life was dynamic
Free demented life we lived
Our juxtapose living was fairly dainty
But still, we lived large
Due to our rhapsodizing lifestyle;
We made imperative to all our demands and needs
And less I forget! we loved God
Our jaunty living made us jovial to all
Until one day; that day
Enmeshed by a popular song;
We never knew how it sounds
Until the Nations economy,
Began singing an absurd and complacency
We eschewed the ominous thought
But obfuscated by it trend
Only one choice we had;
We sell our house and cars
And all that we had worked for, became a gone-goose
That era was like debacle
Ecstatically, we lived and hope in God
We knew we weren't alone
We did trust so much in Chineke
We were dehumanize by pecking-order
Our plea to God was beloved
The fraught and plights made room to trust God in totality
Glory to God! we now have a new chapter.
