Grains Of Sand Poem by Abilash uttama

Grains Of Sand

He stared at the stale bread
Lying somewhere near the road
Urged by the hunger of days
He leaped towards the piece
Taking a step, still he stays
As a dog interfered with his gaze
And took it away before he could
Yet another day he was deprived of food
Upset by his woe, he began to go
But his fate had more to show
A kid passed by with a burger in hand
And the poor just had grains of sand
Kid dumped the burger in trash
While poor headed hungry towards his thatch
