Grand Lodge Of Edinburgh Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Grand Lodge Of Edinburgh

My home is a vampires nest
Demons are everywhere
Each nook, cranny infest
Innocent better beware

Dracula sits on his throne
Sees all through CCTV
From a place where no light has shone
Does monitor you and me

I sense evil in the air
The peasants do walk in fear
Yet most seem unaware
Intoxicated with drugs and beer

The beast does crush their soul
On pennies must subsist
Servitude the ultimate goal
Persecute those who resist

And now I am sad to say
Freedom I cannot see come
My country they do betray
For profit and paltry sum
