Grandmother Poem by Kristen Pelotte

Grandmother

Chocolate chip cookies,
Baked with love.
Warm apple pie,
Topped with a hug.

Jigsaw puzzles,
Put together with a laugh.
Bedtime stories,
We would each read half.

Wrinkles on her face,
Are all the laugh lines.
Baking, puzzles, and laughing,
Were only half the good times.
