The only one I wanted had to go so fast,
you broke my heart into two as I saw you laying there.
Now as you look upon me you're always in my prayers.
The special one looking down the one who always cares.

And as the tears fall from my face,
I realize you never left my side.
You were with me in the begining
and you'll be next to me in the end.

You are not just a stranger or an ordinary friend,
You are greater than anyone can ever become.
You are a hero to most, but much more to me,
You are my Grandfather and that means the world to me.
