Grant My Wish - Poem by Mother Pope

I think about you all the time
I just can't get you off my mind
Next year I wonder where we'll be
And if you'll still be there for me. I want to tell you I love you so
and that my love for you will grow
But the only love I've ever known
Was a love full of pain; cruel and cold. But to feel your touch is all I need
To send me falling fast and free
I'll pull you close inside of me
You'll see the place you want to be. So won't you please just take my hand
We'll walk together across this land
Alone together we'll always be
To prove that LOVE is good for me.
