Grasp Life Poem by Casey A Geiger

Grasp Life

Rating: 3.0

Freeze my life into the age of the eldery,
Stop this nervous clock ticking all around me,
Let me stand within my soul before I kneel,
And redeem all the regret I'm sure to feel.

Let the soft sky cloud around my rough face,
Let the darkness set inside of me like sweet grace,
Let the the feilds of clovers wisper quiet scents,
Let these joys of life unfold with great potence.

Set the sun upon a sea of me,
Splash in the waves of esctacy,
Free as a bird is one to fly,
Grasp life, grasp youth; in time we die,

Sun beams, moonbeams gleam upon all that is seen,
Through feilds of forests, feilds of green,
Soon snowy feilds for all to dream.
Time flies as the ties of a trickeling stream,
Everything can be more than what is may seem,
Let it rain, let it pour, let it wash to the shore,
Give me Earth, give me sky, give me more, give me more.
