Casey A Geiger

Mapped Out - Poem by Casey A Geiger
Being alone in a mapped out world,
Trying to find a home, such a lonely little girl,
Sitting and growing,
Going through this twist of fate,
And hate it.
Doesn't make me hurt,
Just angry.
With the endless teaching,
Endless preaching,
Can't stop to fear me,
Let alone hear me.
My words get lost in the space in between,
I saw no one when I was there,
No voices where in the air,
No wind blowing through my hair,
Nothing to try for,
Nothing to die for,
Nothing to live for, anymore. (1995 age 15)

Words have a real down beat of feelings. There is always tomorrow. (Report) Reply
