Grass Poem by Valerie Worth

Grass

Rating: 2.8

Grass on the lawn
says nothing:
Clipped, empty,
Quiet.
Grass in the fields
whistles, slides,
casts up a foam
of seeds,
Tangles itself
With leaves: hides
Whole rustling schools
Of mice.
