Grateful Poem by RYAN LUCAS

Grateful

Grateful
I believe that I can be everything.
Dreamer, achiever, the leader. Everything.
Son of many nations. Every king.
All praise to the creator. Every queen.
I'm on mission sent here to tell you.
Don't listen to the system that failed you.
I could've been in Bellevue. Cell two.
Instead I'm on my soap box telling you.
Even 50 Cent held through.
Nine shots. You can too.
You were built for the struggle you can't lose.
Life is filled with a hustle you can't choose.
I ain't stressing. I got my feet on the ottoman.
When they want to test I transcend confidence.
Every day I reach into my consciousness.
I got a dream to travel through the continents.
And I will get there. Isn't it obvious?
Writing out the plan like a columnist.
I know I'm speaking to a few in the audience.
You can have all of this. I promise it.
