Gray Sands - Poem by Mylah Ferrer

The skies are so blue and so clear, the sea in all hues of azure. I'm on a lounge by the beach and everything's so peaceful. I bask in the soothing sounds of distant birds, the caressing music of palm leaves and the far away tinkle of laughter. My heart delights in thoughts of you here with me, but my body aches to remember the lingering moments of your touch. My senses burn in longing to feel you back in my arms again; but you're nowhere near, and the minutes tick painfully by. Heaven cease to be without you, and until i find you again, heaven is lost to me.
