Greedy Soul Poem by J Koladi Samson

Greedy Soul

Life stretches out
Beneath the shade
Of a greedy soul.
Soft hairs above lusty lips.
She stood eyes focused on earth
On pivot of chariot wheel.
Like flickering from light house
Kindles light over life
Form a perfect collage.
Salt of life
Spreads over wasteland.

Above the mystery of life and death
Like a vulture flapping broad wings
The greedy soul
Throws dreams, tears from a pair of sapphire
Dislodgment
Complacently, the eerie soul
Stretches her wings to reach the horizon.
