Green House Gas Poem by doug bentley

Green House Gas

an innocuous propeller plane
launched proudly into air,
challenging gravity

it passed overhead.
a moment later
it vanished to a dot,
disappeared;

a mist of vapor trailing,
swallowed.

so is Man
and all his works

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Greenhouse gases consist of about 95% water vapor. Only about 1% of greenhouse gases are industrial strength carbon dioxide. I simply do not understand how any sane mind can believe Man's tiny contribution to warming a freezing planet will kill it. Scientists- get a grip on reality! !
