Grenades & Young Fools Poem by Alexander Foald

Grenades & Young Fools

Are you enjoying this scene?
The darkness is still waiting outside
So why don’t you come and join in
While we at the top of a ride

Let’s be honest, let’s make fun
No more worries, only memories

Just what you got back there?
A TV with channels on fire
Can you see the bodies lying in there?
The stolen business isn’t right for kids!

Let’s be honest, let’s make fun
No more worries, only memories

I guess you know now that you’re holding it
That’s the thing we’ve been sucked on for years
The only way so we can get survive through ages
What, you think you’re a plastic princess out of machines?

Let’s be honest, let’s make fun
No more prejudices, only dusts in the wind

Think hard, pretty sell and good luck
Three kind of things that money would get you for
Don’t believe in style, just to make you laugh
We are young and walking tall, hell these ain’t no fun!

So let’s be earnest, let’s be serious
No more enemies, only grenades and young fools
