Grey Poem by Margaret Purslow

Grey

In between, neither either nor or
Not a colour of the rainbow
It's doesn't end or come before
Significant yet not profound
Stagnant without a sound

Not happy or sad, up or down
Dry, falling leaves upon the ground
Clinging cold, cutting into my skin
Hiding my emotions deep within

Formless, yet uninformed
Dwingling yet hasn't a home
Grey not even black or white
Caring but careless in my plight

Grey
