Growing Into Love Poem by Long Tooth

Growing Into Love

It's lifetime calling, that's for sure,
'True friendship' that can life endure,
For each man grows, the woman too,
With ever-changingpoints of view,
And if both change what's there to last?
It seems a mystery is cast!

Does marriage mean you're not alone,
'Connectedness' helped by cell phone?
Restraining thieves mean you are safe,
A bet that's won protect the waif?
Does having parents save the child,
Black president means reconciled?

Perhaps our Indians are most sane -
Who loves creation lessens pain,
Protect the future's 'Way of Love, '
A synergy, like 'hand in glove, '
All forms of love are garden's gate,
Through which lives 'Eden, ' though we're late

To come to weddingonly goal,
The only way, we get out whole!
This life's just loss if there's no God,
If He's not real, then we are odd!
Life's purpose is to love right Dad,
The living treasure of Sinbad!
