The thorned paths I walked left scars unseen,
Each step a lesson carved into my soul;
In shadows deep, where sorrow had been,
I found the cracks that made me more than whole.
The nights were long, their silence sharp and cold,
Yet in their hush, a fragile strength took root;
From broken dreams and stories left untold,
Sprang courage that no storm could now uproot.
Pain shaped the heart like rain shapes hardened stone,
Slowly, quietly, with patient, steady hand;
Through loss and grief, the self was overgrown,
A tree that learned to rise and firmly stand.
So suffering, though bitter in its taste,
Becomes the fire in which we find our grace.
