Guess What - Poem by Darren Harris

My suicide,
My pain,
My tears,
They all laughed….
While I cried at my fears,
They don’t understand,
But finally I understood,
I’m a freak,
A retard,
I’m not one of them
Because they can’t hear what I hear,
But I can hear them…
The things they say,
The things they think, the voices won’t stop,
Their all around,
They are in my head,
So I turned up my music,
And laid on my bed,
While their twisted thoughts
Bounce around my head,
A flash of silver,
A dropp of red,
Guess what?
Now I’m dead.
