Guide Poem by Nasra Omar

Guide

my partner in crime Selfish to personal desires
I instigate positivity yet I neutralize helping spend
my every dime With negative persuasion regardless
To the things I love.
Things I want to buy
Things I want to hear
Things I want to wear Places.
I want to go Foods
I want to eat Things
I want to do Worry not
I shall help you justify
Forge left to right When right is left
Hasten right as right Seldom left as left
Yet that archive shall have no dent
When all the body parts shall tell
How that life long journey
was spent Upon my hisab.
I seek deliverance From the battles of confusion Misleading delusions
I pray to be guided upon Siraatal Mustaqiim
To become a better muslimah
To do right in accordance to my deen
To be salvaged from the wrath
that is unseen.
It's a ride or die Damn even
when I die you ride In my sleep
you transform Sweet dreams
in the clouds.
we soar like eagles
A sailors worst storm; nightmares!
For better for worse Till death do us part
My Master I pray That you lead me
not astray It's easy to pree
the wrong way Ya Allah
plz Guide me everyday....
