Guilt Poem by Jennifer Cramer

Guilt

You did a bad deed,
And you knew it was wrong,
Now your life,
Has begun a sad song.

You killed your best friend,
Now you’re real sad,
You never knew drunk driving,
Could make you feel so bad.

You want to move on,
You try to get better,
But you can't do it,
It seems to get harder and harder.

You convince your friends,
That you got over the dead,
But then you went home,
And blew off your head.

Now you friends,
Feel sad sorrow,
But they have the courage,
To face tomorrow.
