Gumption Poem by Christopher Tye

Gumption

Gumption

Gumption sadly lacking these days,
Useless youth's with-out experience,
Modern times making us to soft,
Population's with-out common sense,
Technology lessening our survival skills,
International leaders needing more gumption,
Or what chance of world peace,
Now's the time for good old fashioned gumption.
