Guppy Shuttles The Time’s Pattern Poem by Catherine Yen

Guppy Shuttles The Time’s Pattern

Guppy shuttles the time’s pattern

Her eyes
Placing on the stage
Fear of missing
The retrogression of light and shadow

Her ears
Hanging on the ceiling
Fear the rhyme
Dispersed by wind

Her silver dancing costume
Placing in the water
Guppy shuttles
The time’s pattern

World of mortals
Burning in the flames
Metallic luster shed along the wall
Like canvas hanging on the tree

The cold eyes
Gorgeous mess
The soul calcined by beauty
The final picture of camera

Nudity is interfered
Nothingness is interfered
Decadence is interfered
Disaster is interfered

All the interference is interfered
A subversion of the classic
Her adventure
Achieving its upmost colored concept

Guppy: Poecilia reticulta
