Hack It - Poem by Izik Alcox

I find great joy and a certain deep spiritual release
when I keep my sphere in the air
so many patterns to match the variety of moves
no real competition only the one inside addressed to self
Practice, commitment, thought, rest, spiritual guidance
A euphoric state in which I can manipulate my body
in ways that awe to crowds of onlookers
This is my passion my great escape
and to be able to share my sphere techniques
To learn from others as I teach myself
Intoxicated eyes bouncing with the sphere
where it goes, only you can control, and sometimes the wind
Spring is the birth of new tricks and easier control
Summer brings intense training
while fall brings the gradual slowdown where you perfect the new
Winter is you time of rest, thinking what you've done and how to improve it
Meditation is the key, concentration lead by passion and balance
release, this is my passion, the sphere I call a hack
