Haiku Rainbow Poem by Mary Champion

Haiku Rainbow

Wave the worker's flag.
Savour a glass of merlot.
Think danger, think stop.

Horrid herbicide,
a Ukrainian revolt
and you've been tangoed.

A scouse submarine?
A lily livered chicken?
Such a jaundiced view!

Very immature -
but the way we must all go
to save the planet.

Feeling deeply down?
Think of a summer sky and
birds over Dover.

An Indian dye
for traditional denim
and Ellington's mood.

The ultra short wave,
a shrinkingly shy flower,
who screams ‘til she's sick?
