thou art the white cloud
dancing in my inward eye
that paints thy beauty.
I search for my heart
and it dwells in thy sweet love,
let me live in peace.
thy looks of sweetness
pierce my heart of tenderness
and engrave thy love.
why do you love me?
and I believe you love me,
and I dwell in dreams.
don't you speak to me?
and I have volumes to speak,
and my heart will weep.
