Hail Mary Poem by DUW Robinson

Hail Mary

Rating: 2.7

Cross askew
In nomine Patri, et filii, et spiritus sanctu
Wall stains, O deathly blood
Dreams at midnight, of me and you.

Pursue me to the bunker
Underground with earth for cover
Blood for flood
Blanketed skies while I'm under.

Possess me now O phantom of light
Penetrate my soul till it takes flight
Opened the door to December without remorse
Heavy drapes hanging over my window make me light.

Hair down, valleys of bones
Whispers of nothing, the silence howls
Run to the priest with no hope for the lost
Healed devils and broken saints on Desperation flows.

Rock with me, O bloody Marys
Dragons kiss the lips of the fallen
Prayers of the fool who know notthe source
Of pain and of nothingness and of mercy.

The moon to the left, I seek penance
Punishment for my obedience
For devilry and sin-sore
What the night knows, it keep to its chest.

Taurus to Virgo
Sanctify our offering of old
Triangles reaching to heaven's portal
Blur the eyes of the faithful with this inferno.

Hail Mary full of grace
Heads without eyes upon a sandyplace
If I accept this curse
Exercise your promise upon the next soul with a face.

Darkness makes the light seem brighter
Possess no hope all you who enter
Walk to the centre, for there awaits you a host
Pieces of spirits seeking eternal pleasure.

Five crosses in the chest of the priest
Pierced to death with the symbol of his belief
Exorcise the last demon, angel of colours
Guard against all evil and will.

Be our light by evil-tide
In a circle we stand, our foes behind
We are less than animals on all-fours
Keep us close, and our fears beside.
