Half Of Me Facing A Full Moon Poem by Muneeb Tahir Muneeb Tahir

Half Of Me Facing A Full Moon

Half Of Me Facing A Full Moon
Written by Kainat Asif Saleemi
Translated by Muneeb Tahir Saleemi

In the cold nights of December

With the fears waving over my head

Sitting close to the fence

Me in my partial existence and the full moon

I was in state of nostalgia

Stuffing my mind with clusters of thoughts

Scattered were the fragments of unrealized dreams

My chopping heart and the harvest moon

Broken pieces were shattering my vision

My heart felt victim of an eye contact

As a debt it had to shed blood

Bits of mine in full illumination of moon
