Hallow Home

Rating: 5.0

The bird burrowed into the tree
Forging its home
It bore deep into its core
Yet, it dared to ask the tree why it was hallow

Incredibly insightful poem for no longer than it is. You've managed to pack a world of meaning into a few lines. The authors note (while helpful to the reader) might take away from personal interpretations on the piece. Myself I perceived it just as you have described, but perhaps to others it could take on another importance. A great poem and message regardless. Stunning metaphor. Thanks for sharing
