Hamburger Girl Ii Poem by Bill Grace

Hamburger Girl Ii

The hamburger girl smiles nicely at my gray hairs
I look forward to placing my order with her
The manager can not tolerate the chaos of success
Sweeps in and takes my order
Delivers the product and is done
NEXT!
More was acquired than an ice cream cone.
Somehow, something precious and unspoken was lost.
