Hand-Me-Downs Poem by Stephanie Non

Hand-Me-Downs

Rating: 4.5

Kindly they passed to me all
of their lovely traits

I should have questioned all
of their eagerness

to give parts of themselves
away. Now I squeeze

into hand-me-downs that
I have grown to hate.
