Happiness And Productivity Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Happiness And Productivity

Kids a nice company
One needs to keep-
How lovely, how sweet
When, they hug and tug
Leap, skip and jump-fly-
Glorifying the courtyards
As, invaluable national assets.

Ready to jump into the ocean
Ocean of their long journeys-
Taking of dream-flight of thoughts
Let's pray for their safe landing
Landing on cherished dream-lands.

How funny, how cheerful
Humorous and hilarious
Health-healing it is to be
With them on a great day
Now, I can well imagine-
Why great men like Nehru
Always, used to be with them.

A visual treat, a happy tune
Moments well captured
An ode to the children
Within an old man's heart
Right or wrong, a true run for fun
The real talent and taste-
Magical world genuine and legitimate.

All, but for-
Childish smiles and childish laughs
Rising to the occasion-
With new toys in towns and cities
Gearing up for the fast lanes to cope
Balancing happiness and productivity.
