Happy Poem by Andrew Horsey

Happy

Rating: 5.0

Do you ever ask yourself
Try to find, ask it to define
Water runs over you, thinking
I used to be

It is never as bad as it seems
Happy is what makes me
Positive to the core
Now not so

People don’t and can’t see
They ask, but never listen
Kindness hides in them
They mean well

I keep asking, knowing it will change
Formulate my plans
Trivial to many
vile in its path

Yet energy still takes me
Sends chills when I need them
Signals of hope
Needles in its path

I will never stop asking
My path will be hard to define
This too shall pass
I am
