Happy Birthday, Mother Poem by Cat Tiger

Happy Birthday, Mother

Though he be privilege to her smiles
No son may know his Mother's trials
Nor count the sacrifices made:
The weary hours; nerves worn and frayed.

But on the anniversary of her birth
He may offer gifts of joy and mirth
And thank her for the care and tears
That have blessed him through all the years.
