Happy Journey Shared - Poem by Deborah Lawyer

I love to hear you whisper,
Sweet nothings in my ear.
You hold me close within your arms,
Chasing away all my hidden fears.
Giving me your big, strong shoulder to cry on,
You are a man, I feel, I can rely on.
There was a time when I was afraid,
To allow a man so close to my heart.
But, you seem to be breaking down the barriers,
And you began doing so, right from the start.
You seem to need me as I need you;
So, there's really nothing that we can do;
But let each moment guide us,
To where we're supposed to be.
For happiness, is what we both seek.
