In moments like this
when my mind is quiet
and the world around me
seems to be moving
by so slowly
it almost doesn't seem real
This is when I
can reach inside of myself
and place my hand over the
hole in my heart
Run my fingers along the
raw edges of the space
you left inside of me
The feeling of missing you
creeps over me slowly
Until I am swallowed whole
Wrapped in a blanket of
my lonliness and solitude
