Hard To Kill Poem by Peter Strugnell

Hard To Kill

I have seen,
the fading light,
the dimming day,
the in-between.

Hard to kill,
I know now,
what I want,
what it means.

I stand still,
taste the colours,
hear the silence,
touch the flame.

I see clear,
Know the weight,
balance the truth,
kiss the cheek.

Hard to kill,
I have seen,
the hooded man,
the in-between.

One life, One time,
and just one thing on my mind,
and just one, just one...shot!

I really liked this poem with it's short pithy lines. How is it in Normandie a bit further north than I am?

Thanks for the comment James Smith, Normandie is certainly a little more temperate than where you are but we're having a hot summer too!
