Harry Potter's Jacobite Steam Train Poem by Laurence Overmire

Harry Potter's Jacobite Steam Train

Is that you, Harry?
Taking the train to Hogwarts?

The steam billowing from the smokestack of
The Jacobite
Expressly intended
From Ben Nevis to Mallaig

I see you running
Steel tracks clicking
Steady and true
Ft. William to Glenfinnan
The beginning of the '45
Prince Chairley
Raising his standard
On the shores of Loch Shiel

21 arches on the viaduct
Bridge us to a place of
Dreams
Wonderful memories and
Fanciful places made real
In our imaginations

I'll meet you there, Harry
At Hogwarts
I have a trick or two up my sleeve
That you might find

Interesting.
