Hatchling Poem by Leon Moon

Hatchling

Death is Not — A student —
But it yearns — for the Young —
And old truths — All the Same —

As Laughter — A Crying Form —
Silence Is — A — Substitute for Violence —
And the Old truths — All the same —

Yearning — An Expression —
Of our Indivisibility —
Suffering — Outward Hidden —
In our Inward-Turning — Eternity —

Interrogation — Without Question —
Petals of Wisdom — Pitching Distance —
The Standing — To Not Rise — To Forge Under —
A Hatchling — All the Same —
