Hate Addiction To Liquor That Prevents Nothing Good To Happen In Your Life!
If anyone is asked to select one important thing,
It is nothing but wisely not giving chance to anybody
Who are indulged into selling liquor, to rule us;
Such wise people shall find the uplift in this land,
By establishing the modesty, getting rid of the emptiness
With the help of education that accumulates victory! 1
Might kill the family affection, shatters the peace,
Increases the disrespect with laughter wherever
You go into the hall of assembly of wise people,
It might make you to lie unaware along with pigs;
Hence hate the liquor that destroys and prevents
Nothing GOOD to happen in your life due to addiction! 2
Contributing free food, land donation for a good cause,
Offering girls religiously and gracefully for marriage,
Milk yielding cow donation to the Brahman,
Donating gold for the sacred thread for the poor,
Offering free education will never get established,
All the above get last as long as the liquor sales continued! 3

அறுசீர்க் கழிநெடிலடி ஆசிரிய விருத்தம்
வென்றிசேர் கல்வி யாலே வெறுமையும் நீக்கப் பெற்று
நின்று, சீர் நிலைக்கக் கண்டு நிலமிதில் உயர்வு காண்பார்
ஒன்றினைத் தேர்ந்தார் என்றால் உண்மையில் மதுவைச் சார்ந்தார்
என்றுமே நம்மை ஆள இடங்கொடா திருத்தல் ஒன்றே! 1
கொன்றிடும் குடும்பத் தன்பை, குலைத்திடும் அமைதி தன்னை
சென்றிடும் சபையி லெல்லாம் சிரிப்பொடும் இகழ்வைக் கூட்டும்
பன்றிகள் உடனும் கூடிப் படுத்திட வைக்கும் வாழ்வில்
நன்றெதும் நடக்கச் செய்யா நலனழி மது, வெ றுப்பீர்! 2
கலி விருத்தம்
அன்ன தானமும் அகில தானமும்
கன்னி தானமும் கார்ப்பசு தானமும்
சொன்ன தானமும் சொல்கொடு தானமும்
மன்னிடா தொழியுமே மதுவுள நாள்வரை! 3
