Hated From A...Dog Poem by Pietro Grossi

Hated From A...Dog

Her name was Cesira,
Female dog, nice and chic,
Medium size, wagging tail, ..
She only missed to speak.

I liked much her beside me,
but she was too afraid
Of the joke that for laugh,
Often to her I made.

Once she was on sofa
Very deeply on sleep,
Pronto I tought a joke
To enjoy my selfish keep.

I sat slowly beside her
So quiet, so near,
I set alarm clock 5 min. later
And laid it next to her ear.

She woke, looked me, looked clock,
But, as all was quite
She felt asleep again
Deeper with that tic-toc.

Small clock had huge alarm
Strong like a bluster,
Something that could wake up
Dracula faster.

So when the clock rang
At half past eleven
Cesira took off in air
Like Apollo Eleven.

She run away with fury
Never looking back,
And for one week, when met me
She changed her path.
