Haunt me in mystical metaphors
as your spirit rises in poetic verse
let me see your glow in the mirror of solitude
that has only ever reflected me
haunt me in my dreams as I sleep beguiled
with your cold formless body next to mine
let me sense the scent of flowering jasmine
as your spirits' fragrance floats upon the air
haunt me as I walk cold lonely beaches
as high-flying seagulls call my name
haunt me in dark hours of candlelit shadows
haunt me so I am not alone
