Have You Ever Poem by M. Phillip Brown

Have You Ever

Have you ever taken time—
to smile at the morning sky?
Or watch the flight of a dove?
Have you ever hugged—
a child, you didn't know?
Or tenderly made love?
Have you ever taken time—
to stroll through the woods,
on a crisp spring day?
These things, they all have meaning,
more than mere words can say.
We need to reflect on—
the images, that we have.
'Cause one day, they'll all be gone—
lost to everyone.
