Have you ever seen a falling star
As it streaks across the sky
Among the heavens in the night
Like a heartache that passes by

I hear the sparrow sing it's song
Did you know they sing at night
I never knew but tonight know true
For tonight they comfort my side

My friends they say as time it comes
I will pick up and move on
But time for me is eternity
As I carry this heartache, my own

Have you ever seen a falling star
As the heartache of memories rip through your heart
Have you ever seen a falling star
Like a heartache of a falling heart

Tonight I know I will survive
The sparrows sing tonight
And I know I must carry on
But can't help this lonely night

My friends they stopped by
They say as time it comes
But I am only one heartache away
I wish time would so hurry on.
