Have You Ever Seen The Strength In A Solders Eye

Have you ever seen the strength in a solders eye,
When he looks into the sky,

Have you ever seen the pride a solder has in their country,
When the give their lives,

Have you ever looked upon a solder and smiled,
And saw them smiling back knowing all they did wasn’t in vain,

Have you ever seen the bravery in a solders heart,
The way they fight and die for our freedom,

Have you ever read the scripts of history,
And seen how it is the solder’s blood that inks its pages,

Have you ever seen just how much like us solders are,
Do you know how close to dieing some come and yet they still fight,

Have you ever walked up to a solder whit respect,
And asked them if you could help them whit anything,

Do you realize that a solder is not made by the government,
But by parents as you and me are,
Have you ever realize that they are just like you and me,
They live,
They love,
And they die,

A solder is not some one who is bought or trained by the government,
It’s someone who is born,
Out of their grace they protect us whit their lives,
Solders have families who morn,
While we walk six feet above the ground,
They sleep six feet down,

This is a solders life, someone who has realized what is truly on the line,
Willing to give their lives for their believes and so others may also live free,
Solders are the most gracious of us all putting oblivion on the line so we may live free,
And so this is a tribute to your honor not those who try to demeaned it,
