He Is A Father, I Am A Good Father Poem by ERNEST AKELSIBA APUAKASI

He Is A Father, I Am A Good Father

These are two phrases with two different meanings
I was born with destiny
But I never realized it
He taught me many things
But I did not understand all
He took his time
With patience
With passion
With love
He did all these for me
He taught me good manners
He taught me how to love
He taught me how to make people happy
He taught me life experiences
I admired it
I liked it
I loved it
HE IS A FATHER
He brought me up to understand life
He made me a human being
He taught me a lot of things
Like a father
But one thing was paramount
He gave me JESUS CHRIST
He told me about Him
And I accepted the idea
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour
Most of the things he taught me were temporal
My salvation was key
I had it
Nobody can take it from me
I asked my father who a good father is
'I AM A GOOD FATHER' replied my father
Being a father is good
Being a good father is better
If you are a father it is not late to be a good father
