He Is Jack Sparrow! Poem by Ragy Sandid

He Is Jack Sparrow!

Suddenly he loves me
Suddenly he doesn't
I can never tell what he was
And what he wasn't

Depending on the near
Or depending on the fear
He'll take what he can get
With a whisper in your ear

Then he'll professor wisdom
With a wave of his hands being fair
"What's mine is yours", he says
"But your're standing in my air"

He'll say that love is giving
And my pride is the love he needs
He says I'm my father's son
Things are not to be mistaken for deeds

Then rambles on about life
Not being the same since I came
He was the last one of his kind
Till he just became an added name

Ask him? You find him Inspector Gadget
Need him? He turns to another toon
Love is not need, that is his creed
Treasure and family; if Choose one, the other maroon

I wondered long and hard
Where I've seen one define love so narrow
And nail emotions like arrows
My brother: He is Jack Sparrow
